Could you make 380 quiches in one day?! This video by Mendip Media explores the amazing work our staff have been doing during lockdown. Their hard work behind the scenes ensured NHS key staff were supplied with healthy food while they were working in very difficult circumstances.
Catering company Somerset Larder is supplying meals to NHS workers in the county, in order to help support them through the coronavirus emergency. The Bridgwater based company is sending 3,000 meals a week to the Somerset NHS Health Foundation Trust, which includes Musgrove Park Hospital and 30 other community hospitals and medical facilities. They will be distributed three times a day to all staff, including to care workers who have to travel to patients’ homes.
It may have been just another day and another tasty meal for lucky customer Andrew Tremayne, but his purchase of Somerset Larder’s three millionth meal this week not only marked a fantastic milestone but also highlighted the company’s position as a strong and successful link in the Hinkley Point C (HPC) supply chain.
